A cattle keeper was seriously injured by raiders who attempted to loot cows at Nyukur area in Kawalib of Nuba Mountains.
Boutros Aron Omar was shot in the right side of the chest by suspected cattle raiders on Monday at about five o’clock in the morning, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He says the raiders entered the cattle camp and started firing guns randomly.
Aron explains that the raiders escaped after facing resistance from the cattle keepers.
He calls on other cattle keepers to be careful and stay with their cattle in save places.
Last week, there was a cattle raiding in the same area of Kawalib in al Hadra.
