Ethiopian Prime Minister visits South Sudan Friday

Ethiopian Prime Minister visited South Sudan last Friday for talks with top government officials to strenghtehn bilateral ties between Juba and Addis Ababa.
 
Government Spokesperson, Michael Makuei Lueth last Friday told journalists in Juba that Premier Hailemariam Desalegn Boshe was supposed to touch down at Juba International Airport yesterday.
 
The visit is meant for signing of bilateral agreements between Juba and Addis Ababa, Makuei says.
 
Security in Juba has been tightened in the wake of the Ethiopian Prime Minister’s visit today.
 
The Ethiopian Prime Minister played a significant role in the signing of South Sudan’s peace deal in August, 2015 as the host IGAD Head of State.
