SPLM Wau Secretariat condemns threats against Equatorians

SPLM Wau State Secretariat has condemned threats that citizens from Equatoria region working for humanitarian agencies should vacate the area within 72 hours.
 
SPLM State Secretary, Valentino Majok describes those circulating threatening statement against Equatorians as enemies of peace, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
He says those ordering Equatorians out of Wau aims at separating South Sudan.
 
Majok says SPLM party members in Wau State commit to protecting Equatorians and other citizens from any harm.
 
SPLM and other members of Bahr El Ghazal region deny the existence of an association that is issuing circular ordering Equatorians to leave the region.
 
SPLM Youth Chairpersons of the region urge Equatorians to remain calm and feel at home as South Sudanese nationals.
 
The state government is calling on all youths to participate in a peaceful demonstration against those threatening Equatorians to vacate Wau.
