Traffic police in Wau confiscates over 100 motor bikes without number plates

Wau traffic police has launched a campaign against vehicle especially motor bikes without number plates.
 
Colonel David Deng Marial, Director for Wau Traffic Police says the operation aims at organizing the road.
 
He adds that they will continue to ensure vehicle in the state are registered and insured.
 
The move follows the return of calm to the state after months of insecurity.
 
Henry Michael, a motor bike rider says the campaign is timed at a difficult moment of hardship without any consideration.
 
It is too difficult to afford the cost of insurance and license of motor bikes, he laments.
 
On Monday the traffic police seized more than 100 motor bikes.
