Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference or SCBC premises in Juba came under attack again by armed men on Sunday night.

Fr James William Silgat, the Deputy Secretary-General of South Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference tells CRN Yanta Daniel Elisha in an interview that Eleven Thousand Pounds and 200 US Dollars plus mobile telephones were looted by the attackers.

It was at 9:30 PM when the robbers attacked me, he adds.

No, I did not, I did not report anything to the police because there is nothing special that I can go to the police to report, because you report to the police, you will not get anything. So I don’t want to bother myself to go to the police”.

Back in June, 2015, Sudan Catholic Bishops’ Conference or SCBC compound lost seven laptop computers and 35 Thousand South Sudanese Pounds to burglars.
