YCS PREPARES SILVER JUBILEE

The Young Christian Students (YCS) are preparing to celebrate 25 years of its foundation in Sudan with a workshop for old and new members.

YCS started in Sudan in 1985 and the movement will celebrate its Silver Jubilee in November.

YCS Chairperson Jimmy Nelson Ali told SCR news that his office is preparing the members for the celebration through an enlightenment workshop on the main objectives of the movement that took place today in Juba.

Mr. Ali revealed that the training is for both new and old YCS members from various secondary schools in Juba.

The YCS movement has many activities that include Gospel sharing, and visiting the sick, prisoners, orphans and disable people.

The movement has a huge following among students in all secondary schools in Juba.
