A fifteen-year-old boy on Sunday evening sank, drawn in Tonj River and died.
An eyewitness Zachariah Aleu explained to Radio Don Bosco that he was trying to take bath at the shore of the river, but stepped on the dead body in the water and immediately reported to those near him.
Police authorities said it was the third time they are registering such a case.
They added that some months ago, two children were reported dead in the river the same way.
The dead child was not recognized and police are calling on all members of the public to find out somebody missing a small boy.
The state government is arguing the public not to allow their children to roam near Tonj River as it is overflowed.
