Oxfam response to basic needs of 20,000 people in South Sudan

Oxfam says it has responded to basic needs of twenty thousand people in schools and communities across the country.
 
Deputy Country Director, Rama Anthony broke the news during the Global Hand Washing Day over the weekend, Radio Bakhita reported.
 
The Day was celebrated under the theme: ‘Make hand washing a habit’.
 
Anthony added that their activities in South Sudan are water sanitation and hygiene.
 
He says they worked closely with Juba Municipal Council on the outbreak of cholera.
 
The Global Hand Washing Day was coloured with songs, drama and poems at Munuki Central Primary School.
