Yei River State Governor wants authorities in Kajo-Keji County to cooperate with the civil population for protection in the area.
David Lokonga Moses demands the commissioners of Nyepo, Kajo-Keji, Kangapo and Liwolo to work together with army commanders to ensure ‘true protection of civilians as the first mandate’, Radio Easter reports.
He says the creation of more counties in the state is to bring development closer to the people, Kajo-Keji Press Secretary, Derrick Derickson quotes the governor.
Derickson says Governor Lokonga demands armed groups in the bush to join cantonment sites approved by the government.
