The State Information Minister of Gbudue on Monday refuted allegation that State Governor, Patrick Raphael Zamoi was arrested in Juba.
Joseph Natale Sabuni warns some wrong politicians in Yambio who are spreading rumours and false propaganda to tarnish the image of the government, Radio Anisa reports.
The minister says the allegation was baseless and a malicious propaganda that was designed by power hungry politicians to instigate citizens to rise against the government leadership.
Sabuni says Governor Raphael Zamoi was not arrested in Juba.
He points out that Governor Raphael was introducing South Sudan National Liberation Movement commanders to the national government.
Governor Raphael is expected to return to Yambio after attending a high level SPLM workshop in Juba next week.
