The President of the Republic on Wednesday evening, assured citizens he is alive and healthy by touring a number of residential areas in Juba in an open vehicle.
President Salva Kiir was reacting to rumours which circulated in Juba that he died on Tuesday morning.
He told the press after going around that those who created the rumours about his death and killing are enemies of peace in the country.
President Kiir called for calm and asked families that lost their relatives at Juba-Nimule and Juba-Yei roads’ incidents not to revenge.
