Governor of Imotong State, Nartisio Loluke Manir reminds Church leaders to commit to God’s services than politics because people need peace messages most.
He advised religious leaders not to practice politics to serve God because it contradicts their objectives, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Governor Loluke noted that peace is the most valuable good that every citizen in and out of the state is searching.
He added that peace is a commitment for everyone.
Loluke says peace can be attained through dialogue, but not by using force.
The governor made the comment during a peace dialogue organize by Catholic Church in Torit over the weekend.
