Authorities of Yei River County are warning residents of possible punishments for relaxing to clean their homes and surroundings.
A resident living in dirty environment will be fined one thousand South Sudanese Pounds, warns Azariah Khamis Noah, Yei Town Clerk, Radio Easter reports.
The Clerk says many residents in the town are taking advantage of the recent uncertainties and stopped cleaning their homes.
He urges every resident to adopt the spirit of voluntarism to keep the town clean and prevent outbreak of diseases.
Khamis announces that authorities will carry out residential inspection to trace out violators.
