The authorities of South Sudan after weeks of negotiations accepted UN Security Council resolution on the deployment of other four thousand peacekeeping forces.

Minister of Cabinet Affairs Martin Elia Lomoro told reporters over the weekend that the government will work with the UN and its Council for the implementation of the resolution 2304.

He said the Council of Ministers ordered all state institutions, especially security to cooperate with the Mission to speed up the deployment of the forces.

Government spokesman, Michael Makuei said the negotiations with the UN would focus on the number of soldiers, which according to him could be less than 4,000.

The United Nations Mission in South Sudan made up of 13 thousand troops, but the Security Council decided last August that would 17 thousand.
