South Sudanese people need to go ahead with their normal activities like cultivation to fight hunger and avoid listening to false allegations, a priest in Yei Catholic Diocese advises.
Fr Tom Poru Martin during the celebration of St Rafael Day Chapel on Thursday said soldiers and armed groups should let the civilians stay and do their work freely without restrictions, Radio Easter reports.
The Priest called for peace to enable citizens widen efforts in agriculture avoid depending on relief aid.
Area acting Chief Joseph Sebit Lasuba warned that any person found fighting in the area would be taken to the police for legal actions.
The leaders made the remarks as St Raphael Catholic Chapel in Yei Diocese during its tenth anniversary celebration.
