Cafod and Trocaire in Partnership or CTP on Thursday concluded the three-day training for Catholic Radio Network or CRN journalists on peace agreement dissemination in Juba.
CTP Deputy Country Director Mugove Chakurira says the training marks the beginning of the seven months journey of CRN journalists training on the deal.
He calls on the participants to continue documenting positive feedbacks from citizens on the agreement implementation in South Sudan.
Chakurira advised the news editors and programme managers to train fellow journalists back home to achieve lasting peace in the country.
He appreciated the journalists for their good spirit of participation during the three-day exercise.
The Deputy Country Director appreciated, Edmond Yakani, for a ‘very good job’ in facilitating the workshop.
The facilitator advised the participants to put the knowledge learned into practice.
CRN News Editor Alfred Soka appreciated Cafod and Trocaire in Partnership for supporting the Network to build peace and confidence in South Sudan.
The three-day workshop brought together programme managers Damian Doggale, of Bakhita, Matthew Meskin of Voice of Hope and William Comboni of Radio Emmanuel.
The training included News editors: Esio Awu of Radio Easter, Elias Ginana of Radio Anisa and Santino Magut Bol of Radio Don Bosco.
