Acting Speaker of Wau State Legislative Assembly has called on executive body to allocate the 20 tractors to counties to improve food production in the next rainy season.
Voila Alexander Umelesays says the government should distribute the tractors for farmers to boost agricultural production next year to fight hunger in the state, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
She calls upon the state government and the ministry of agriculture to improve food production.
This year, Wau State received 20 tractors donated by Presidency to 28 states.
The speaker made the remarks during Guinea worm cash reward program at Udeici County on Friday.
