Security situation has improved in Ezo County of Gbudue State in the past few weeks and people who fled started returning home, says Commissioner.
Luciano Gumbakpite Bakinde says the World Vision and other organizations began assessing the number of returnees in the county, Radio Anisa reported.
He expresses worries on health situation because there are no medicines in the facilities in the county.
Bakinde agrees that the armed youth who took arms against the government in the county have started returning home and join the government in big numbers.
He regrets the recent insecurity that left his office empty after all the stationeries were destroyed, forcing him to write on papers without proper documentation.
He adds the road to and from Ezo County is now passable and secured.
The commissioner calls for immediate help including health services and that the people returning home are in terrible need.
Last week Gbudue State Information Minister, Joseph Natale Sabuni, confirmed that about four hundreds former armed youth joint the state government and are now in Yambio.
