Sustainable Livelihood program official in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio advised farmers in Greater Western Equatoria and South Sudan at large to form groups or cooperative societies to increase agricultural productivity.
Tartisio Wandu Bimo says farmers should cultivate together to maximize food production, Radio Anisa reports.
He advises farmers to plant on time and separate crops to be used as seeds for another season to get strong planting materials.
He states that farmers need to harvest and classify the produce into three groups of consumption, sale and seeds.
The official made the advice during Agriculture Program on Radio Anisa on Friday.
