Two children have died of unclear circumstance last month in Sabat Payam of Dalamy County in the Nuba Mountains.
16-year old Zubeida and two-year old Koko Jailewere found dead in the bush on Friday after disappearing for twelve days, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
The father of the children who is also the chief of the area, Jaile Saied stated that the children went to the garden to collect some food.
He said that the children on returning from the garden were given some green vegetables by their grandfather to take to their mother.
Saied noted that the children were tied together and appeared to have been shot.
Mr Saaid denied having any problems with anybody in the community because of his position as a chief.
Police at Sabat Payam could not be reached for comment.
