Wau Mayor has promised to bring back the appearance of the town as it was known of good hygiene and cleanliness.
Mel Aleu Goch directed all committee leaders and members of the residential areas to introduce cleaning campaign to get rid of breeding mosquitoes to avoid malaria infections and other diseases, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
Aleu promised that authorities will give a prize to the cleanest residential area in the municipality.
The Mayor was speaking during his reception ceremony on Tuesday at Wau Municipality.
