OCHA team visits Yei to assess humanitarian situation

A team of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs or OCHA is in Yei to acquaint itself with the situation on the ground.
 
The sector partners will carry out assessment in water and sanitation, health, nutrition, shelter, food security and protection, Radio Easter reports.
 
State Information Minister Stephen Lado Onesimo, says Yei has been experiencing terrible humanitarian situation since July crisis in Juba.
 
OCHA deputy head of office, Gemma Connel, says their assessment will enable humanitarian agencies understand and respond to the exact needs of the people.
 
The team is expected to conclude its work on Thursday.
