About 20 homes in Sanja Siri residential area of Yei County have been burned to ashes, confirmed Commissioner.
This followed clashes between government and opposition forces in the area on Sunday shooting, Radio Easter reported.
Commissioner Bidali Cosmas Wori-Kojo says residents in the area lost so many belongings including cattle and other domestic property.
He calls on the residents to go back to the area as the security situation returned to normal.
Commissioner Cosmas also calls on forces from both sides to avoid fighting in the middle of civil population for the safety of their lives and property.
The commissioner was talking to Radio Easter on Monday.
