The youth of Tonj State on Saturday appealed to leaders and elders to support their development initiatives.
Youth representative, Benjamin Anyar, said young people are trying to support the government to restore peace in communities of the state, Radio Don Bosco reported.
He appreciated state authorities’ move to disarm the civilians to realize harmony in the state.
Another young person, Abraham Akot Yel told Radio Don Bosco that they need the support of elders so that they can do what is expected of them.
He advised his fellow young people to abstain from politics.
The youth made the remark on Saturday during Hiwar Al Shabab or Youth Dialogue talk show.
