Bishops appeal to South Sudanese to embrace peace and unity

Catholic and Episcopal Bishops of Tombura/Yambio Dioceses called on the people of South Sudan to embrace peace and unity.
 
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala of Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese expressed sadness to hear that some individuals in Western Equatoria and South Sudan are enemies to others, Radio Anisa reported.
 
He said he was unhappy to hear that Gbudwe State Governor survived a deadly attack on Riingasi–Yambio road last month on his way from Tombura to Yambio.
 
Bishop Hiiboro appealed to everyone to restrain from wrongdoing.
 
Bishop Peter Munde Yakobo of ECSSS Yambio Diocese encouraged South Sudanese to have hope because good things will soon come to South Sudan.
 
The two Bishops were speaking on Friday during a welcoming ceremony at Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese secretariat shortly after their arrival from Kampala, Uganda.
