Saints Peter and Paul Primary school of the Catholic Diocese of El-Obied in Heiban County on Friday closed for a week holiday after ending second term exams.
The head teacher of the school Yousif Dawud told Radio Voice of Peace that the performance of this term is better compared to the fist term exams
He admitted that some pupils dropped out from the school mostly due to pregnancy.
The head teacher encouraged pupils to continue working hard in order to face the final term well.
He said his school has 593 pupils, comprising of 293 boys and 300 girls with 13 teachers.
Dawud calls on parents to cooperate with teachers to advise the children at home to continue reading their books.
He noted that if children are not well directed, they go contrary to school rules and regulations.
