A group of South Sudan young artists call ‘Ana Taban’, Arabic words of ‘I am tired’ is launching a campaign for peace in Juba on Friday.
Joyce Maker, a member of the group, says they started the initiative because youth are tired to see their people suffering the incident happened in July.
Ana Taban wants to create a platform to be the voice for other people who cannot speak up for themselves, she explains.
Joyce adds that the youth have to use their artistic skills for the benefit of all people to make them have hope for peace.
She urges women accept all challenges because they have all potentials of changing the society.
Another member in the group, John Ador, calls for respect of human life especially women because they suffered a lot during the last clashes in July.
He regrets that insecurity affects Ana Taban Group from extending their activities to areas beyond Juba.
Ana Taban Group born in July, is launching the peace campaign at Nyakuron Cultural Center on Friday.
