The thirteen commissioners of Yei River State on Tuesday have taken their oath of office before dispersing to their respective counties.
Lainya County Commissioner, Augustino Kiri Gwolo on behalf of his colleagues, says they will work closely with authorities to restore security and peace in the state.
State Governor, David Lokonga Moses, advises the commissioners not to be scared by the current political situation.
Meanwhile, Bishop Elias Taban of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, tells the commissioners to work hard and realize development their various counties.
The commissioners have taken oath at a time the state is facing rising insecurity and economic hardships.
