A Pastoral committee of the Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio concluded its visits to parishes at St Augustine on Sunday.
Catechist David Miamangawai, a pastoral administrator, says the purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with challenges facing the church, Radio Anisa reports.
Meanwhile catechist Richard Gbiaundore, a member of the committee says the parishioners they met raised concerns of training in their various groups.
He appeals to Christians to be humble, hardworking and respectful in their parishes to foster peace and development.
After concluding in the central denary they will proceed to the eastern denary.
The pastoral visit which mainly consists of catechists started in June and ended on Sunday.
