Seven hundred and six children of Saint Monica from Ave Maria Ngboko Parish in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio prayed to their Patron Saint to intercede for lasting peace in South Sudan.
Moses Raphael Minisare, Parish Information Officer, reported to Radio Anisa that the children spent three days praying for themselves and their parents.
Ave Maria Parish Priest Joseph Githinj advised the children to be respectful and work hard to achieve good things in life.
He called on the children to be obedient to parents at home and members of various communities.
The Children were grateful to the parish administration for the care and supports rendered to them and for introducing them to Christian life.
The children came from the Centres and Chapels under Ave Maria Ngboko Parish.
