Primary and secondary schools are expected to reopen on September 5 for third term.
An inspection carried out by education authorities in the schools shows that many learners turned out for the exams compared to the teaching period.
Philip Taban, Yei County Education Director, commends the good turn up of the learners during the exams.
As learners disperse for holidays, he tells parents to take proper care of their children and send them back to school as soon as possible.
Taban says the recent uncertainties have left many schools with few teachers after some of them including foreign teachers escaped for safety.
