Authorities of Rumbek town are working on the highway drainage system that takes stagnant water out of the main markets.
Rumbek Town Clerk, Mabor Chawuop Mabor on Thursday told Radio Good News that there is necessity of opening roads in the main markets.
He cited lack of funding to make work progress as a major challenge.
Chawuop renewed his call for contribution and advised people to continue working with the little money the communities contributed.
Early this month, Rumbek town council announced to the public that there is need for the community to contribute money to facilitate work on drainage system.
