The intervention force will not confront the sovereignty of South Sudan, but protect civilians, embassies and critical facilities, says US Secretary of State.
John Kerry says the forces will restore stability and protection against difficulties for government officials and foreigners during the fighting, Radio Bakhita reports.
He believes the force will be effective with the different mandates given to them.
The Secretary was reacting to government’s rejection to the deployment of the intervention force.
Secretary Kerry expresses US administrative commitment to support South Sudan with its economic recovery for the stability of the country.
But he urges the government and the opposition to implement the peace agreement to attract more funds.
Kerry emphasized that South Sudan should be defined by nationality, inclusivity and equal rights, not tribal line.
This month, UN Security Council, approved four thousand troops to restore total peace in Juba.
