A three-day workshop on peace building that drew ten schools together at Sacred Heart Parish Tonj of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek finished on Wednesday.
Facilitator Abraham Mading Adoor says the training is to create awareness and form Parent-Teacher Association in the schools to become peace ambassadors, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Abraham mentions that teachers will form the first seven-member committee comprising of three teachers including ladies.
Students and parents will also participate in the committee, adds the facilitator.
Mading urges participants to put what they have learnt into practice by starting peace in their own houses and communities.
Toka Moses Mozumba a teacher of Tonj Academy Secondary School says he has learnt the skills of disseminating peace to people.
Another teacher from St Bakhita Primary School adds that he has learnt how conflict starts and how to prevent it.
