Yei Catholic Bishop tells residents to avoid frightening with exaggerated imaginations to cause continuous fleeing.

Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says church leaders found out that many people fled the town due to dependency on imaginations, Radio Easter reports.

He says churches decided to go on with their activities by neglecting the rumours.

Bishop Lodu reminds residents that depending on imaginations to flee will only expose a person to a dangerous situation in which the cause is false.

The Catholic prelate advises people not to conclude immediately with imaginations, but first analyze and confirm situations from concerned authorities before taking any step.

Bishop Lodu was speaking during a farewell ceremony of Fr Alex Lo’diong Sakor on Monday on his way to studies in Rome, Italy.
