Yei Catholic Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe has commissioned 20 trauma healing guides in a ceremony held at Christ the King Cathedral on Friday.
Bishop Lodu tells the members to imitate Jesus who is the healer and making Him their model, Radio Easter reports.
Trauma healing guides is a training given to people to counsel traumatized members of the communities, clarifies John Mawa, Diocesan Counsellor.
He says most of the commissioned members are internally displaced people, who face high trauma.
Meanwhile, the commissioned members promise to put the skills got into practice.
Yei Catholic Diocesan Counselling Centre trained the guides to help communities to heal the trauma.
