South Sudan says it will borrow 1.9 billion US Dollars from China to implement the proposed projects in the country.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deng Alor Kuol says most of the money will be used for the construction of physical infrastructures and improvement of tourism, Radio Bakhita reports.
He adds that there are about fifteen major and minor projects to be implemented across the country.
The Minister says the ministry asked Chinese companies working in oil fields to increase production to pay the amount of money to be borrowed.
Alor says China raises concerned about its soldiers killed in the UN Mission in the country.
Two Chinese peacekeepers were killed and five others injured in the recent clashes in Juba.
