The catholic bishop of Tombura-Yambio warned that the prospects of war were increasing in the Sudan.
Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala told the Catholic Foundation Help the Church in Need that Sudanese have been witnesses of acts of violence and contempt for humankind.Bishop Hiiboro said that it was difficult to talk about a peaceful referendum without recalling with concern the persistent persecution of Christians that is taking place in Sudan.
