Civil Society organization, CEPO appeals to the new Finance Minister to work hard to improve the biting economic situation in the country.

On Monday President Salva Kiir replaced David Deng Athorbei with the former Minister of Trade and Industry Stephen Dhieu Dau.

CEPO Director Edmond Yakani tells Radio Bakhita that the current economic crisis requires a long term policy of brain work.

Instead of auctioning money to individuals, the money should be used for buying commodities in order to reduce prices in the market, he suggests.

Yakani says the new Minister should tell South Sudan leaders that the security of a country is a solution to economic condition where people go to production areas and markets without fear.
