Ministry of Interior graduates 1,500 police in Rumbek

The Ministry of Interior on Monday graduated one thousand five hundred new police officers who spent nearly two years in Makembelle training field in Rumbek of Western Lakes State.
 
This is the first police batch trained in Makembelle, Radio Good News reports.
 
Western Lakes State Police Commissioner Nickolas Dimo Atut urges all graduates to implement law and order.
 
He hails the state and national governments for supporting such initiative that will reinforce the existing police force.
 
Western Lakes State Local Government Minister Benjamin Makuer Mabor applauds the new graduates for their tireless commitment throughout training since 2014.
 
He says the new graduates will work hard day and night to maintain peace and stability in Greater Lakes States.
 
Makuer advises the new force to bring people together and turn them away from tribalism.
 
First Lieutenant General Makur Marol says the new police graduates will be supported in order to serve people in the country.
 
He calls on the people to cooperate with the new police force to effective deliver services.
 
Western Lakes State Governor Abraham Makoi Bol Kodi appreciates the new graduates and their trainers.
