The government should urgently investigate looting of businesses in Juba during the recent violence, urges Secretary-General of the South Sudan Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.

Simon Akuie Deng says the conflict left traders to lose millions of US Dollars after their business premises were emptied, Radio Bakhita reports.

He calls on the government to form a committee to investigate the looting and assess the losses made by the traders.

The Chamber warns that any business person found hiding goods from the public will be arrested and taken to court.
