A women group is preparing to conduct peace and development workshop on Saturday in Tonj State.
The workshop under the theme: ‘Women and the nation’ is expected to discuss the role of the women in peace building and the development, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Women representative Maria Agok Mapal says they want to see the possibilities of helping the conflicting communities because they want their sons to listen to them and respect each other.
Another representative says they will help in educating communities and promoting peace in the state.
The female leaders encourage their fellow women to come, participate and share ideas together.
Young Leaders Society is expected to facilitate the workshop at Don Bosco Multi-Purpose Hall.
