Saints Peter and Paul staff beat Primary School pupils 2-0 in a friendly football competition on Thursday in Nuba Mountains.
Ismail Awad Issa Balae, a staff player, appreciated the friendly spirit between the school children and the staff, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He added that the pupils played tactfully though they did not score a goal.
The player encouraged people to take sports seriously and continue with the good spirit of inviting each other to play games together to increase their talents and unity.
Many youth in the Nuba Mountains who love football say the sport lacks support and the materials.
