The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei calls on all citizens of Yei River State and South Sudan in general to live in peace with God and one another.

Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says that Jesus wants people to embrace peace, forgiveness and reconciliation, Radio Easter reports.

He adds that true peace will reconstruct the broken lives and hearts of the South Sudanese.

The Bishop also calls on the citizens to throw away fear in their hearts to reduce the rate of the people moving away from Yei town.

He made the call at Yei Freedom Square during a public rally on Wednesday.
