The Bishops of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSSS call upon political leaders to protect people and their property.

A communiqu√© signed by Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul on Saturday said it is ‘disheartening’ to see South Sudanese displaced again and exposed to insecurity.

The ECSSS Bishops expressed their readiness to support the Transitional Government in promoting and advocating for peace and justice.

The Bishops stand in solidarity with families that lost their members, read part of the communiqué.

The Bishops in the document appeal to the international community to provide food and non-food items to people affected by the violence.
