Activist urges leaders to adhere to Peace Agreement provisions

“There is need to adhere to the provisions and the security arrangements of the Peace Agreement signed in August in 2015”, activist urges political leaders.
 
Mere Kaje Lorna of SSUDEMOP says the Agreement is still alive and the political leaders should implement it in letter and spirit.
 
She says civil society organizations are engaging in a number of meetings with stakeholders to address the problems creating violence in South Sudan.
 
Kaje calls for joint efforts to resolve the crisis facing the people of the five-year-old country.
 
The activist urges the political leaders to control their armies to protect citizens rather than looting and frustrating them.
 
Peace activist, Isaac Kenyi encourages the public that the Peace Agreement is still working because Dr Riek Machar is still the First Vice President.
 
The speakers were talking to the press on Wednesday following a fighting between forces loyal to President Salva Kiir and those loyal to First Vice President Dr Riek Machar.
