National Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation believes that cantonment of forces in Equatoria and Bahr El Ghazal regions will help improve security.
Mabior Garang De Mabior says once armed groups are put to a specific area, the Transitional government will have the chance to identify criminals posing insecurity in the country, Radio Easter reports.
He adds that cantonment will also make it easier to disarm the civil population.
Minister Mabior says without cantonment, some criminals take advantage of the current political situation to loot people of their property.
The Minister was speaking on Tuesday during the inauguration of Water and Sanitation facilities in Yei.
