Tombura/Yambio Diocese bids farewell to St Theresa Hospital Director

Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese on Sunday held a farewell mass to the Director of St Theresa Nzara Hospital, Sister Sarah Antonio, at the Parish Church.
 
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala in his homily said the Sister will be remembered for her excellent service in the diocese, Radio Anisa reported.
 
He said Sister Sarah committed herself to work with passion to serve the people of God in Tombura/Yambio Diocese.
 
Meanwhile Sister Sarah Antonio thanked the people of Nzara, patients, staff and the authorities for supporting her during her work in the diocese.
 
She also encourages the staff to cooperate among themselves and have love to the patients.
 
Sister Sarah Antonio a Comboni Missionary from Italy came to Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese eighty years ago and worked as medical doctor at St Theresa Nzara Hospital.
 
The Hospital is one of the big health facilities in the Diocese which treats and tests thousands of HIV/AIDS, TB and other patients.
 
In a related development, Nzara County Commissioner, Elia Richard Box, confirms giving another big piece of land for the expansion of the Hospital.
