Authorities in Nuba Mountains held four-day health conference in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains.
The theme of the conference is ‘Together we save the lives of our people in the Nuba Mountains region’, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
Health Supervisor, Jamri Osman said the conference aim to encourage practitioners to stand together in combating diseases in the region.
The Supervisor explained that the health practitioners discussed issues affecting their rural communities.
Nuba Mountains Deputy Governor, Suleiman Jabona earlier described the event as very important because health workers discuss and plan for the welfare of the region.
The conference that drew together 90 people ended on Sunday.
