Government ready to negotiate on Kenyans convicted in Juba

Government says it is ready to meet Kenyan authorities over the case of four Kenyan nationals convicted in Juba.
 
The Kenyan nationals were among the 16 individuals jailed for corrupting more than 14 million US Dollars from President Salva Kiir’s office, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
Government Spokesperson, Michael Makuei Lueth says if the Kenyan government requests for the convicts’ extradition, the South Sudanese authorities will accept on diplomatic grounds.
 
Earlier on, Kenyan media reported their government plan to negotiate for an extradition agreement with South Sudanese authorities.
